Join in a productive afternoon with lots of fun!
Make your own handmade candles to keep or give as a gift to friends or family.
The candles are made with 100% NZ beeswax.

JungHwa Kim will show you how to make candles using simple hand-dipped techniques.

The types of candles you can make
Various tapered candles:
• birthday
• straight
• twisted
• thick
• thin
• long
• short

You will get to take home all of your handmade candles.

Who can attend?
• No experience in candle making is needed to take the workshop.
• Participants must be aged 13 or over.

What to bring:
• A container to take your candles home in.

What to wear:
We will be using hot beeswax which can be harsh on your skin. So please wear:
• long sleeves (an old shirt)
• trousers / long skirt
• sneakers or other closed shoes
• an apron will be provided as extra protection.

• Booking is essential. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking to secure your spot
• If minimum numbers are not attained, the workshop will be postponed to the next available date or will be canceled and your payment will be fully refunded.

Fees include supervised tuition, all materials, safety equipment, and afternoon tea : )
